I've lived in Los Angeles for 4 years and spent the first 3 looking for a stylist I liked all over the city. I like modern haircuts that are easy to style day to day, done by consistent, talented, and interesting stylists.
Last year I gave Southpaw a call and made an appointment with Jesse to cut off my man bun. He had a really cool personal style, which was a good sign to me. I think I showed him a picture of Shawn Mendes (LOL) and asked him for a similar cut but matched to me. He absolutely nailed it. I immediately was getting noticeably more compliments on my hair than I ever had before. I knew I couldn't go anywhere else.
I've been going to Jesse ever since and we discuss what I want to do with my hair every time. He always wants to do what I want, which isn't always the case at salons. I love going to see him and I'm always excited to see what color his hair is going to be.
The price is affordable and everyone is working very hard on their clients while I'm there. Lots of care and attention to detail. I would highly recommend Jesse, and Southpaw, to anyone who is looking for their go-to Salon.

SERGIO is always consistent and very detailed in his work. He's never in a rush and always makes sure I'm happy with his hair cuts. When I come to Trendsetters he's the ONLY barber I will let cut my hair.

Sergio was great! Was in the nearby area and he was able to give me a haircut without an appointment. Highly recommended
